EST TAKES RABAT! π²π¦
Last week, our President Elizaveta Barabanova just represented EST at
OTT Conference 2026 β 150 think tank leaders representing 50+ countries.π
The EST also actively contributed to the conference programme. We co-hosted "The Role of Student-Led Think Tanks: Education, Impact, and Professionalisation" with Student Network for Open Science, Leeds Policy Institute, and EPIS Thinktank. π€β¨
The session explored youth and hybrid think tanks as spaces for learning, policy engagement, and institutional innovation.
We focused onto what actually matters: educational impact, organisational sustainability, youth voices in policymaking, credibility and how to stay relevant long-term.
WHY THIS MATTERS?
Student-led think tanks are redefining the game. πͺ
We're not just research operations, but we're communities that shape which conversations happen, which questions get asked, which future gets built.
While AI crushes existing data, the true challenge remains staying human: deciding which questions matter, which voices deserve to be heard and which ideas are worth bringing into the room.
That's what we do.
